Getting to Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst is located 25 miles north of NYC, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge.

There is plenty of parking on site, and we are planning to run a shuttle from the Tarrytown Metro North train stop as well as from the Sheraton in Tarrytown.

For those traveling from out of the area, thanks for making the trip! We have set up a room block at the Sheraton in Tarrytown, but NYC is just a short train ride away if you would like to stay in the city. Please ask if you have any questions about where to stay or any other details.

Metro-North Train Schedule
(Choose Grand Central Terminal as the "from station" and Tarrytown as the "to station")

New York City

If you are not too familiar with NYC, we recommend staying near Grand Central Station. The Metro-North trains run out of Grand Central, and it is just a 50-minute train ride to Tarrytown.

Based on the current train schedule (see the link below), we have set up shuttles for two trains:

Train 1: Leaves GC at 3:51 PM, arrives at Tarrytown 4:39 PM Train 2: Leaves GC at 4:20 PM, arrives at Tarrytown 5:11 PM

For the return to New York, we will have a shuttle leaving Lyndhurst at 10:50 PM to catch the 11:12 PM train back to Grand Central.

Tarrytown: Sheraton Tarrytown

This is the “official” group hotel, with a negotiated group block of rooms. We have 40 of the hotel’s 150 rooms blocked for Saturday night, at a discounted rate of $139 plus tax. The hotel has an indoor pool and fitness facility and free Internet in the public areas and a small cost for Internet access in the guestrooms. Parking is free. The hotel is a 5-10 minute drive from Lyndhurst. While the online deadline to book in our room block has passed, you can still call 1-888-627-8523 to ask about available rooms.

For travel from the Sheraton to Lyndhurst, we will have shuttles leaving from the front of the hotel starting at 4:50 PM with the last one leaving around 5:25 PM.

At the end of the night, the shuttles from Lyndhurst back to the Sheraton will run every 15 minutes from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Please head outside the carriage house to pick up the shuttle.

This is for those who want a lodging “experience.”
